SUMMER SHOW Saturday 13th June
AUTUMN SHOW Saturday 12th September

Staging: 9.00am–10.30am
Open to public: 1.30pm
Prize giving: 3.00pm

We hope you will feel encouraged to enter at least one of our 2026 Shows. Entry is open to members and non-members. Details of Classes for all shows are listed in the 2026 Schedule given to Members. If you haven’t entered a Show before, why not give it a go? It’s always good to see new names amongst the list of prizewinners!

If you need advice before the Shows, Committee members are very willing to try and help. To begin with, you may wish to contact our Show Secretary, Brenda Kettle, on 07751 146441. On
Show days, Brenda and other Committee members are always on
hand to help with queries during staging.

Our Shows are judged in line with the rules and guidance set out in “The Horticultural Show Handbook – The Official RHS Guide to organising, judging and competing in a show”. The rules include that use of Floral Foam is no longer permitted, due to concerns about its non-biodegradabilty and disposal. The Handbook contains helpful advice on topics such as classification of daffodils (with clear, accompanying diagrams) and how to prepare and present fruit and vegetables for showing. There is also a detailed section containing suggestions for Exhibitors.

consider purchasing a copy of the RHS Handbook. Guidance and

Rules and classes for the shows, and Show Entry Forms, are set out in our annual Schedule, a copy of which is given to every member.

SHOW ENTRY FORMS
Please deliver forms & fees to our Show Secretary, Brenda Kettle,
(07751 146441 or diggerkettle@icloud.com) at 32 Stansted Way, Frintonon-Sea CO13 0BG by 1.00pm on the Friday before Show day.
Alternatively, you can email your form to Brenda by the deadline shown above and pay your fees when you arrive to set up on Show Day.

LATE ENTRIES CANNOT BE ACCEPTED
